Timeline of the event.

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar

  • Meet the us at Srinagar Airport around 12 pm, Upon arrival, we shall head towards Pahalgam, on the way you will be able to see the lush “Saffron Fields” of Kashmir and the historic Awantipora Ruins.
  • Once we reach Pahalgam, we'll check into our hotel for some time to relax with snacks and refreshments. Our exploration then leads us to discover the beauty of Pahalgam and the Lidder Valley.
  • The Lidder Valley enhances Pahalgam's charm, showcasing the nature's beauty. Ideal for those looking for peace and quiet, this valley offers a magnificent spot to admire the sunset. Additionally, the Lidder Valley is a hub for engaging activities, including river rafting, picnicking, and camping, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • We end the day with dinner and an overnight stay at the Pahalgam Hotel.

 Day 2: Pahalgam Valley

  • Following a hearty breakfast, we set off in our buses towards Chandanwari. Known for its picturesque setting. It serves as the entry point for the sacred Amarnath Yatra, offering breathtaking views where the serene Lidder Valley meets majestic snow-capped mountains.
  • On our way, we'll pass through the beautiful Betaab Valley, originally known as Hajan Valley. This spot is a must-see for its scenic beauty and cinematic history.
  • Post lunch, our adventure continues to Aru Valley, just 11 km from Pahalgam. Encircled by snowy peaks, green meadows, and lively streams, Aru Valley presents a perfect picture of nature at its best. A visit here is a must for any traveler. It's also the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake, making it a paradise for adventurers.
  • Our day ends with a return to Srinagar, where we'll spend the night at a local hotel, reflecting on the day's journey and the beauty we've encountered.

 Day 3: Visit to Dawar

  • After enjoying breakfast, we'll set off for the Gurez Valley, located 125 km from Srinagar.
  • The bus ride to Gurez, lasting between 4 to 5 hours, takes us through the stunning Razdan Pass.
  • As we traverse Razdan Pass, keep an eye out for the majestic Harmukh Peak.
  • The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay in Dawar, allowing us to rest and gather our thoughts on the journey's natural splendor.

 Day 4: Gurez Valley Sightseeing

  • Following breakfast, we'll explore Dawar, a captivating village in the Gurez Tehsil.
  • Next, we set off to witness the iconic Habba Khatoon Peak.
  • The afternoon offers free time for relaxation or the chance to embark on an impromptu short trek through the picturesque landscapes of Gurez Valley, embracing the area's natural beauty at your own pace.
  • The day ends with a return to our hotel in Dawar for dinner and a restful overnight stay, capping off another memorable day of our journey.

 Day 5: Tulail Valley

  • Today post breakfast our journey leads us to the enchanting Tulail Valley.
  • Along the banks of the Kishanganga River, we'll encounter numerous charming villages, each home to about 25-30 households, showcasing the simplicity and beauty of rural life.
  • Our exploration continues towards Chakwali, the last Indian village before the Pakistan border.
  • The journey from Dawar to Chakwali introduces us to a series of villages, including Barnoi, Shaikhpora, Purana Tilail, Badugam, Hasangam, Baduab, Miru, Angaikot, and Gujran, each with its own unique story and setting.
  • As the day turns to evening, we'll make our way back to our hotel in Dawar, where we'll spend the night. This part of our trip offers a profound glimpse into the serene and untouched beauty of Kashmir, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life.

 Day 6: HouseBoat in Srinagar

  • Starting our day with a delightful breakfast, we'll prepare to leave our hotel in Dawar-Gurez and head back towards Srinagar.
  • Taking the scenic route through Gurez, we'll make our way back to the city. 
  • Upon arrival and check-in, we'll take the opportunity to explore Srinagar's vibrant markets.
  • A highlight of our time in Kashmir will undoubtedly be the Shikara ride on the lake.
  • Our day ends with a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in Srinagar, soaking in the calmness and beauty of the lake around us, a perfect conclusion to our memorable journey.

 Day 7: Return journey to Mumbai

  • You can book your return flights anytime post 6pm.
  • Return home with lots of happy memories.

Travel Information

  1. Coordination: We will be creating a WhatsApp group 3 days prior to event Date and time for coordination purposes. This group will contain information about field crew contact numbers, Last-minute instructions related to meeting the Trek leader. Apart from last-min details rest all details are available on this page. 
  2. Joining the Group: The Group will be travelling from Mumbai. You can plan to join the group from Mumbai itself, or meet everyone at Meeting-Point.  
  3. Flight/Train Ticket: Mischief Treks is there to assist you in getting tickets booked for you on your behalf. Our Ticketing agent will get the tickets booked for you. If you wish to book the tickets on your own you are free to do so. Check with us on WhatsApp 7719800777 for booking same flight/train being opted by other participants of the group and the Trek-Leader.
  4. Mischief Treks provides assistance in getting your tickets booked so that you don't have to go through the hassle and all the group members can travel together. As we do not have any control or authority on 3rd party services like train/flight tickets/operations, Our role in booking tickets is just that of a helping-hand.

What is the procedure for getting train/Flight tickets booked?

Ans. Once you have made the payment for online booking, We will be sending you a KYC form (within 24-48 Hrs) to be submitted for yourself and participants in your group. After we receive the KYC details, if you wish to get the train/flight tickets booked by us, we will forward the relevant information to a ticketing agent for getting the train/flight tickets booked in your name. The ticketing agent takes minimum 1 working day to get the processing done.

Q. How many people will be coming for the tour?

Ans. Depends on the number of people booking the event. Generally, the batch size is approximately 10-15 participants. 

Q. Is Tour safe for solo participants? 

Ans. Yes is safe and comfortable. Mostly 40% of the participants come solo and blend in with the leaders and the rest of the group.  

Q. Is this tour safe for girls? 

Ans. Mischief Treks has a track record of making our events extremely safe for girls. Normally 60 – 75 % of our participants are females.

Q. Can we pay in cash?

Ans. Sorry we do not accept cash payments.

Q. What is the last date of booking the event?

Ans. Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally you need to book at least 1 month advance.

Q. What are the different ways to participate in Mischief Treks events?

Ans: Participation in Mischief Treks events/activities establishes a participatory relationship rather than a consumer relationship, because it involves engaging in group activities and the participation does not constitute to purchase of goods or services. Here are the detailed participation options:
As a Participant: You can join specific activities/events by carefully reading and understanding the event details carefully and registering through the event page, where a payment will be required. This option is for those who wish to join individual events without long-term commitments.
As a Permanent Member: After participating in 20 or more activities/events, a participant will qualify for permanent membership, which comes with distinct payment terms communicated directly to members. This status recognizes your continued engagement and offers benefits accordingly.
As a Volunteer: If you're interested in supporting the events without participating financially, you can apply to be a volunteer with Mischief Treks. The volunteers are selected based on the needs of each event and they can join without making a payment, emphasizing the communal and supportive aspect of participation.
As an Affiliate Referral: Through this program, affiliates can refer individuals to participate in activities/events, supporting the community's growth. This option highlights the collaborative nature of Mischief Treks' activities.
Note: Customization of activities/events is available upon request, requiring separate registration. This ensures that all participants' unique needs and interests are accommodated, further underlining the participatory essence of Mischief Treks' operations.

Q. I have booked/paid for the event, is my booking confirmed? 

Ans. No !, your booking can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details at least 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to the campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of an emergency and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent on WhatsApp immediately after you complete the booking instructions mentioned on the website. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. 

Q. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?

Ans. Its a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present at our campsite or trek is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event we will be asked by authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event.

Q. Does the cancellation policy/rescheduling policy apply if I book on last day?

Ans:  Yes, the policy is applicable irrespective of the booking date. The cancellation / reschedule policy is applicable to everyone with immediate effect from the date and time of booking. The refunds/rescheduling requests will be processed based on the date and time of cancellation/reschedule request sent to us and the date and time of booking the event are irrelevant. 

Q. What is the basis of cancellation/reschedule policy ?

Ans:  The cancellation policy is based on fairness towards the participant and the organizing team. In case of medical/personal emergency, the loss arising out of cancellation/reschedule will be borne by the respective person. i.e. if the organizing team faces an emergency situation and the event gets canceled, the participant will not have to suffer financial loss. Similarly, if the participant faces an emergency situation, the organizing team will not have to suffer financial loss. The cancellation policy is designed with a completely unbiased approach towards the participant and organizing team and is aimed at fairness towards both.

Cancellation, Rescheduling And Refund Policy
  • 90% will be refunded if cancelled 30 days (720+ hrs) in advance.
  • 75% will be refunded if cancelled 20 days (480+ hrs) in advance.
  • 50% will be refunded if cancelled 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
  • 0% refund if cancelled in less than 10 days (240 hours) of the event date and time.
  • 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup, does not reach the meeting point on scheduled date and time. 
  • Cancellation Policy Explanation 

  1. The calculation will be based on total tour cost that you have booked. Incase you have paid only a partial amount, the partial payment is not taken into consideration. For calculating refund percentage total tour cost will be considered.
  2. If the event itself gets cancelled by Mischief Treks, The participant will be given the option to switch to any other event or any other date, Or you can opt for 100% refund. No charges will be deducted and the Participant will gets full refund of the amount paid by him/her.
  3. If the Participant has initiated the cancellation request, The percentage of refund is applicable after deduction of third-party cancellation charges i.e. train/flight and stay. The cancellation charges of train tickets and stay need to be paid by the participant. For this event the stay cancellation charges are 3500/- per person.
  4. Any external charges like convenience charges, train ticket booking charges of travel agents, or any other charges are not refundable.
  5. Based on availability the Participant may be provided an option to reschedule the tour for a later date. The Rescheduling will be done as per residual amount after deducting stay cancellation charges and this would require differential charges to be paid by the participant.
  6. In case of Partial Payment for booking the slot, the balance payment needs to be paid 20 days prior to departure date and time. If the participant defaults in making payment and does not clear the dues 20 days prior to departure date, the partial amount will be forfeited and the participant will be considered drop out. 
  7. Non-Adherence to any of the terms and details explained on this page, or intentionally ignoring the terms will lead to disciplinary action against the said participant and he/she may be expelled from the group. 

Rescheduling request by Participant 

  • If you need to reschedule your booking to any other date, it can be done only if the rescheduling request is sent at least 20 days prior to event date and time and the request will be considered after paying cancellation charges for stay and travel, booked for the given date. 
  • Rescheduling can only be done based on availability for the given date. 

NOTE: Please do not book this event if you do not agree to the terms and details mentioned on this page. This mutually agreed cancellation policy is applicable to the participant and us as well. The Date and time of cancellation request sent to us will be considered for calculation of the applicable slab given above. The date and time of booking the event are not relevant for calculating the number of days and hours remaining between the event date and cancellation request. It's a humble request, please do not give medical reasons, crib, argue or try to threaten/blackmail us if you drop out or cancel/reschedule the trek due to the situation at your end . 

The basis of the cancelation policy is to protect the participant and the organizers from undue financial losses arising out of unforeseen situations. If the event gets canceled due to the medical/personal emergency of the organising team member, the participants will not have to suffer financial loss. Similarly, if there is a medical/personal emergency at the participant's end, the organizing team will not have to suffer financial loss.
