Best Time to Visit 

The best time to visit Alibaug Beach for Camping is during winter months of December and January. As the campsite has close proximity to the sea, the area gets humid and the heat during the day causes lot of discomfort. The trek leaders at Mischief Treks recommend to take weather conditions in consideration before opting for a camping location.

  • Without Transport: 999.00 per person
    You need to reach the campsite in your Own vehicle. We will be sharing GPS locations and directions/instructions on the WhatsApp Group.
  • With Pickup/Drop: 1200.00 per person
    Transport will be provided from Mandwa to Mandwa.

    Timeline of the event.

    Day 1.

    • Catch ferry: – 02:15 from Gateway
    • Ferry name: – PNP
    • Don’t miss the ferry
    • Reach 15 min early to the gateway and take your ferry tickets
    • Meeting point
    • 03:30 pm: – Meet the Team outside the Mandwa Jetty (If you are late you need to reach the campsite on your own).
    • 05: 00 pm: – Enjoy and fall in love with the beauty of Beach Camping as you check-in. On Arrival Welcome drink. Freshen up and have some snacks with hot Tea/Coffee.
    • 05:30 pm: – Icebreaker round. Settle down and enjoy the sun setting from the Beach side Camp. The place is all time stylish for nature photography. You may enjoy indoor games similar to carom, badminton, volleyball, or bone can just relax and decompress on hammocks until evening.
    • 07:30 pm: – It’s time to move and groove to the beats of the Music.
    • 08:00 pm: – Enjoy the Barbeque (Veg/Non-veg/Jain).
    • 09:30 pm: – Enjoy Unlimited Delicious dinner (Veg/Non-Veg/Jain) will be served prepared by locals with traditional Indian cooking style.
    • 11:00 pm: – And eventually, the utmost awaited moment to fight the bite around sizzling, hot, and burning bonfire with a stupendous live aural session by the sand! And this experience will be locked ever accompanied by loads of fantastic recollections!
    • 11:30 pm: – Settle down for the iconic movie screening under the sky and stars.
    • End the day nearby a beach under the open sky & enjoy sleeping in Tent. (Foam mattress, blanket, and pillow will be provided)

    Day 2

    • 07:30 Am – Time to Wake Up!! You can’t miss the walk around the campsite with the morning breeze moving around.
    • 08:00 Am – Freshen Up and enjoy a healthy morning breakfast.
    • 09:00 Am – give way to yourself in some sports activities or just sit near the beach (Activities – Cricket, Football, Badminton, etc..)
    • 11:00 Am – It’s going to be hard to leave the campsite but will surely be taking the memories with us. Bid farewell with a promise to meet again.

    • Food: The food during the event is home cooked food provided by local villagers living in tribal (Aadivasi) region. If you are choosy, cranky and grumpy about food, please avoid joining this event.
    • Transport: Mischief treks does not own busses, Jeeps, Trains, or Flight. The transport options are hired by us just like people hire Ola/Uber/Auto/Taxi/Train. Any issues regarding the transport vehicles need to be addressed to concerned transport service provider. Pickup-and-Drop for the event is arranged only as "help"  towards common means to travel together, Mischief Treks does not provide transport services or takes any liability regarding the same. Our role and responsibility starts from base village where the trek conducted by us begins. 
    • About us: Don't forget to check the About-Us page if you are new to trekking in Maharashtra. 
    • Discounts: To be honest, Discounts and coupon codes are just a marketing trick to fool people. No one offers something below the pre-decided rate slab. The charges on website haven't yet been adjusted (inflated) to provide for discounts. Mentioned amount is the lowest actual charges and hence discounts are currently not possible. Each organiser charges a certain amount based on his understanding  regarding 'Worth' of his own event.
    • KYC Form: Once you have paid for the event you will receive a KYC form on WhatsApp as soon as your payment is verified by system. You need to submit this form within 3 hours of receiving the form. If you have booked for your friends too, you need to ask each of your friend to get this done. If you are booking just 1 day prior to event, the form needs to be submitted immediately to avoid any inconvenience (Refer FAQ section below)

    Points to Note, and FAQ's Regarding Alibaug Beachside Camping

    Q. What is provided in meals at Alibaug Beachside camping?

    Ans. Evening snacks will be Maggie and tea. Dinner will consist of Jain, veg and nonveg options. Veg Full meal like Roti, Vegetable, Dal, Rice, Papad, Salad will be available. Morning breakfast will have tea, poha, Upma.

    Q. Are kids allowed at Alibaug Beachside camping? 

    Ans. Kids of any age are welcome for Bhandardara Lakeside camping

    Q. We are coming by our own vehicle for camping event where should we reach & how far is campsite ?

    Ans. As explained in the "How to Reach" section on this page, you need to click on the Google Map link and follow the directions. The distance from Mumbai to the campsite is 126 KM which takes around 03 Hrs 30 min to reach by road. Also, we will be sharing the same details in Whatsapp group for the event.

    Q. Does the campsite have Washroom Facility?

    Ans. We have washroom available at 2-4 min walking distance. It is a common washroom for all participants of the camping event. 

    Q. How should I book Alibaug Beachside camping?

    Ans. All you have to do is press the "Register" button on this page and follow the instructions.

    Q. Can someone read out details for me on phone?

    Ans. All the details are mentioned on this page itself, once you scroll up you will all info on your screen. Sorry, we do not verbally provide details on the phone as it usually creates a lot of misunderstanding and miscommunication. Also, its extremely important to read and understand all the details before you book the event so that you have absolute clarity. If something mentioned on this page is confusing, you can get clarity on chat by clicking on the chat with us button on top. To discuss things that are not mentioned on this website we can arrange a callback from one of our trek leaders.

    Q: I have Registered/paid for the event, is my Registration confirmed?

    Ans. No ! , your Registration can become invalid if you do not submit the "Most Important Details" required for emergency situations. For any Trek/Adventure event the organizers need to have your details at least 24 hours prior to the event. We do not allow anyone to the campsite until we have complete and authentic details of the person. This info is crucial in case of an emergency and is a mandatory KYC parameter. The link for the "personal details form" will be sent on WhatsApp after making payment. Submitting incomplete/incorrect/fake details in the form will make your booking invalid and no refund will be provided in such case.

    Q. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?

    Ans. Its a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present at our campsite or trek is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event we will be asked by authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event.     

    Q. Can we pay in cash or on-spot at Alibaug Beachside camping?

     Ans. Sorry, we do not accept cash payments, on-spot payments, or installments.  Advance booking is compulsory. 

    Q. What is the last date of booking Alibaug Beachside camping?

     Ans. Registrations close once tickets are sold out. Ideally, you need to book at least 2-3 days in advance.

    Q. What all things are provided in the tent?

    Ans. The tent contains a Styrofoam mat which is similar to a yoga mat, and a blanket for each person. We suggest  you to bring (optional) a bed sheet or blanket to add on to the comfort levels. 

    Q. How many people will share the tent OR can we have separate tent for ourselves?

    Ans. We have tents of 4 different size . 2/3 person capacity tents are available, you can chose from any of these as per number of persons coming along with you. Tent size is as per standard international norms for tents. The 2 person tent is dimension: 200 x 150 x 110 cm. The 3 person tent has dimensions  200 x 200 x 130 cm. The 4 person tent has dimensions  220 x 250 x 150cm.  After booking the event you need to email/message us your preference of tent size atleast 2 days prior to the event date. Allotment of tent size depends on availability of tents and payment made. 

    Q. Can we pay in cash or installment or on spot?

    Ans. Sorry we do not accept cash payments, on-spot payment, or installments.  

    Q. What is the last date of booking?

    Ans. Bookings close once tickets are sold out. Ideally you need to book atleast 2-3 days in advance. 

    Q. How many people will be at the Alibaug Beachside camping event?

    Ans.  The count varies every weekend, for some weekends its 30-50 people and for some weekends in holiday season it goes upto 50-100 people/ During peak dates like Christmas and New-Year the count may reach up to 200 people.

    Cancellation, Rescheduling And Refund Policy
    • 75% will be refunded if cancelled 20 days (480+ hrs) in advance.
    • 50% will be refunded if cancelled 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
    • 0% refund if cancelled in less than 10 days (240 hours) of the event date and time.
    • 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup, does not reach the meeting point on scheduled date and time.

    If the event itself gets cancelled, you will be given the option to switch to any other event or any other date, Or you can opt for 100% refund.
    If you need to reschedule your booking to any other date, it can be done free of cost if the rescheduling request is sent 480 hours prior to event. From 00 hrs - 480 hours prior to event date and time, free rescheduling is not permitted. It will be counted as cancellation done in less than 480 hours of event date and time. It's a humble request, please do not give medical reasons, crib, argue or try to blackmail us if you drop out or cancel/reschedule the trek in last 20 days. This mutually agreed cancellation policy is applicable to you and us as well. Date and time of cancellation request sent to us will be considered in calculation of applicable slab given above. The date and time of booking the event are not relevant for calculating the number of days and hours remaining between the event date and cancellation request.
