Charges:

The total cost of customised fireflies camping / trek will be as per your budget. Its important to understand that a tour/event can be planned with low-cost or high-cost based on your requirement, we create the tour plan based on Your budget and requirement. Initially you need to pay 1000/- per person to proceed with customization, the arrangements, planning, stay options, food, local travel, and all things depend on your preference.


How to begin with Customization

  • First Step: After you make payment of 1000/- per person by clicking on "Book Now" button we will receive your customization request. This is a non-refundable amount towards getting the tour customized and sent to you as PDF file. Balance payment depends on your budget and willingness to proceed with confirmations and bookings.
  • Work Begins: Once we receive your customization request, our team swings into action. We will have a discussion with you on phone to have clarity on your requirement. We invest time and effort to secure commitments from trusted vendors, including hotels, resorts, travel vehicle providers, and third-party organizations, to find the best options that align with your needs and budget.
  • Getting Confirmations: As your tour is entirely personalized based on your budget and preferences, the total cost depends on the details you provide in your customization request. After creating a tour plan based on your requirements, we'll send you a draft for your reference. If you're ready to proceed or wish to make any adjustments, you'll need to make an initial payment representing 50 percent of the estimated budget.
  • Partial Payment: Once we receive your payment, we'll move forward to confirm the arrangements as outlined in the tour plan. The remaining balance must be paid 10 days before the event date and time.
  • Please note that hotel and other charges fluctuate daily, so the final cost depends on the rates in effect when you make the initial payment and authorize us to proceed with the booking on your behalf.
  • Additional Support: we can assist you in booking cab for door to door pickup and drop from your city on your behalf. The rules, terms, and charges for these travel options will be as per the respective vendors, such as cab companies, transport provider etc. Availability and confirmations purely depend on the respective entities and Mischief Treks does not have any authority on any other vendors. 
  • Final Payment: Balance amount needs to be paid 10 days prior to the departure date and time. 
  • Cancellation and rescheduling policies vary for each customized plan and will be detailed in the tour plan we share with you. Incase if you wish to cancel your plan, the cancellation policy mentioned on the Customized PDF will be applicable for the customizations done for you.

Timeline of the event.

Schedule for Fireflies Festival Camping events

  • You can reach the campsite by 05:00 pm, Once you reach the Campsite you can freshen up, then you'll be allocating tents to everyone.
  • Tea and snacks will be available on your arrival from 4.30pm-5.30pm 
  • You'll be having a short introduction round around 06:30 pm.
  • Then you can relax or join the team for games and watersports.
  • Dinner will be ready by 09:30 pm. 
  • You'll be moving out by 10:00 pm to Spot Fireflies. This will be a short walk about 5 min.
  • You can choose to sit/lay down for the night enjoying the mesmerizing weather for as long as you want. 

Day 2 - Sunday

  • You'll be giving a wake up call around 07:00 am (for one's who have slept.)
  • Breakfast will be ready by 08:00 am
  • You can then enjoy the watersports and chill besides the lake.
  • 10 am you can start your return journey towards Mumbai.
  • If you have opted for pickup-drop the shared vehicles will be available for drop till Kasara station from 9am to 11am. 

Schedule for Fireflies Festival Trek Events

  • Once we reach the base village fort by 19:30 pm we shall have a short safety and introduction round and start the trek by 20.00 pm. 
  • We will be walking through the dense forest region and to reach second base around 21:00 pm where we shall stay for the night. During this forest walk, we will spend ample time watching fireflies. You'll be staying in Homestay for the night. 
  • Then you'll have dinner around 22:00 pm, post-dinner we will be going for a night walk here once again we get a chance to spot fireflies.
  • 5:00 am wake-up call for ones who have slept ;) . 
  • We will start our trek toward the pinnacle by 5:30 am
  • Our next stop will be the peak of the fort which offers the best vantage point to view the breathtaking views, we are expected to reach here by 6:30 am.
  • We will rest at the peak for a while and enjoy the surroundings and start descending by 8:00 am so that we can avoid day-heat. 
  • We will reach second base have breakfast. Post breakfast we continue walking down. 
  • The group is expected to reach back to base by 11:00 am.
  • Once we reach base, we head to Neral station and back to Mumbai.

    6. Some ready-to-eat food like biscuits, plum cake, etc to keep your tummy happy.
    7. Extra pair of clothes, and anything that you might need for comfort on the tour.
    8. Medicines (if you need any), Glucon D / Electrol / Enerzyl Powder (We will have a basic first aid kit with us).
    9. A bag pack or Trolley bag along with small bag pack /Pouch to keep essentials.

    How do I get a tour customised ?

    The best part of customised tour is that each aspect of the tour is customised as per your requirement including total cost of the tour. 

    • First step for you is to decide your budget, so that we can prepare a plan that fits in your budget. Without this we cant even start working on your plan.
    • Nest step is provide confirmation about your requirement to get tour customised. This has to be done by pressing Book-Now button on this page and make initial payment of 1000/- per person so that we can officially start working on your requirement at get your plan streamlined by getting commitment from various vendors like hotel, resort, transport providers etc ..
    • Please note, the person count matters a lot, coz entire costing, capacity and rate of vehicle and all other things are based on your budget and count of participants. 
    • Once we have a draft plan ready we will share a PDF for your reference.
    • If you wish to make changes in hotel, number of days, or any other aspect of the tour you can do so before final confirmation is given to related vendors. 
    • If you wish to confirm the plan you will have to make 50% payment of total tour cost so that we can get the arrangements confirmed.

    The final cost of the entire tour will be as per Your budget amount preferred by You for getting the tour planned. Initially you just need to pay 1000.00 per person to get started with the customisation.

    What if I don't like the final customised Itinerary?

    The chances of you not liking the final customised plan are Zero Percent, because it's essentially a reflection of your own choices and selections. Our team is dedicated to translating your preferences into a travel experience as per your expectations. Technically, each aspect of the entire plan is as per your choice. So, its not possible that you don't like your own choice and selection. Also the cost will be as per your budget amount. Moreover, the cost associated with the customised tour aligns precisely with the budget amount you specify.     Cancellation, Rescheduling And Refund Policy
    • In case you do not wish to proceed further for customisation, the initial payment of Rs.1,000.00 per person is non-refundable and once the customized itinerary is sent to you, this amount gets utilized towards the efforts for customization process. 
    • If the cancellation request is sent to us after the stay and other arrangements are confirmed, the following slabs will apply (number of days prior to departure date and time) 
    • 90% will be refunded if canceled 15 days (360+ hrs) in advance.
    • 75% will be refunded if canceled 10 days (240+ hrs) in advance.
    • 50% will be refunded if canceled 05 days (120+ hrs) in advance.
    • 0% refund if canceled in less than 05 days (120 hours) of the event date and time.
    • 0% refund if the participant drops out, misses bus pickup, or does not reach the meeting point on the scheduled date and time. 
    • If the event itself gets canceled, you will be given the option to switch to any other event or any other date, Or you can opt for a 100% refund. If you need to reschedule your booking to any other available date, it can be done free of cost if the rescheduling request is sent 120 hours prior to the trek. From 0hrs - 120 hours prior to the trek date and time free rescheduling is not permitted. It will be counted as cancellation done in less than 120hours of the event date and time. It's a humble request, please do not give medical reasons, crib, argue or try to blackmail us if you drop out or cancel/reschedule the trek in the last 5 days.
    • The basis of the cancelation policy is to protect the participant and the organizers from undue financial losses arising out of unforeseen situations. If the event gets canceled due to the medical/personal emergency of the organising team member, the participants will not have to suffer financial loss. Similarly, if there is a medical/personal emergency at the participant's end, the organizing team will not have to suffer financial loss.
